 KLIPS LACELOCS ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS

You can choose graphics from our KLIP GALLERY and simply add text such as: name, company, organization, etc. or send us your own graphics.

The fastest way to get your klips lacelocs is to send your graphics by digital file preferably internet, email; or via snail mail on: cd or flash drive, SD.

klipit accepts the following file formats: .TIF, .TIFF, .EPS, .AI, .PSD, .JPG, .PNG & .PDF.
We do not accept Word documents, Publisher files, Excel files, PrintShop files or PowerPoint files. Prices include processing one set of uploaded files and creating a single digital proof.    YOUR ILLUSTRATION MUST BE "CAMERA READY"   ready to be printed when we receive it.
After we receive your uploaded file(s), we will review each file. If we find any problems, we'll contact you; otherwise you'll receive a PROOF of how your klips will look via email to review  24 to 72 hours (1 to 3 business days.)

RESOLUTION:
All file formats must have a minimum of 350dpi (dots per inch) resolution. Image designed for the web are normally created with a low screen resolution of 72 dpi. Print images need to be of a much higher resolution (at least 350 dpi) or there will be a substantial drop in the image quality on your printed labels.

COLOR MODE:     All color artwork and/or images must be provided in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) color mode. All black & white artwork and/or images must be provided in grayscale color mode.

BLEED:     Please build your print-ready digital files by adding 0.1875" bleed to each dimension (or 0.09375" bleed on all four sides for rectangles

What is bleed?  Bleed is a portion of the product that will be trimmed off when it is printed to final size.     Please design your carefully to ensure proper bleed.

GRAPHICS AND DIGITAL  PRINTING:  Digital printing uses the standard four-color process as with other types of printing. Files should be created using CMYK color. All files submitted as RGB (red, green, blue) will be converted, which may cause color shifts. To guarantee accurate color reproduction, please provide files using the CMYK values from a Pantone Process Coated Color Guide. Printed colors are always different from what is represented on a computer monitor. Even PDF proofs are not an accurate representation of color. It is very important that you use a Pantone guide if exact color representation is important on your finished label.
Our digital press utilizes four-color process (CMYK). We can print a close approximation to 95% of all Pantone colors.
The press will print utilizing a maximum of 812 dpi (400 dpi is photographic  quality)  Currently klipit printing does not support fluorescent or metallic inks. If these types of inks are needed for your graphic the printing will be outsourced.  Pricing will be quoted prior to your approval of job.
Do NOT create files with Overprinting attributes. These attributes will often change the appearance of the final product.
